Get ready to bring history to life—one table at a time! The 51st Pacific Regional Leadership Conference is hosting a dazzling Tablescaping Contest as part of this year’s historical project, and we’re calling all creative visionaries to join in the fun! There are 12 open tables available for teams to decorate with flair, style, and a deep nod to our rich legacy. Think bold, beautiful, and storytelling through design! Team Rules:
-
Only officially registered teams and team members are eligible to participate.
-
Each team may have no more than five (5) members.
-
Each state within the region is limited to one decorated table.
-
The tablescaping area will open for team setup on Wednesday, June 18, at 10:00 AM.
-
All tables must be fully completed by 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 19.
JUDGING CRITERIA
Creativity & Originality
How unique and imaginative is the design? Does it bring a fresh, inspired take on the historical theme?
​Theme Interpretation
How well does the tablescape reflect the assigned or chosen historical theme? Are the elements cohesive and meaningful?

Visual Impact
Does the display grab attention? Is it eye-catching, well-balanced, and polished?
​
Use of Materials
How well are the materials, textures, and colors used? Are they thoughtfully chosen and skillfully arranged?

Attention to Detail
Are the finer details—like place settings, props, and accents—well-executed and intentional?
​
Overall Presentation & Neatness
Is the table tidy, organized, and professionally presented?
​
Educational Value
Does the tablescape offer insight or information about the historical project? Is there a clear message or story being told?


CONTEST WINNERS
The contest will award first, second, and third-place prizes. A panel of selected judges attending the 51st PRLC will evaluate each tablescape based on the set of scoring criteria mentioned above. Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Saturday, June 21st.
